Ways to Stop Armpit Sweating Effectively

Sweating is our body's way of maintaining homeostasis, that is to keep us cool. However in certain areas of the body such as the armpits, sweat cannot evaporate easily. The bacteria - that partially break down the sweat - have more of a chance to accumulate and multiply in this area and in similar parts of the body, resulting in sweat stains on your clothing and body odor.

Sufferers of excessive perspiration often believe that chemical and medical treatment methods are the only way to solve this problem. In fact there are several natural methods that can be equally effective without the high costs of treatment or the unpleasant side effects.

Below are the recipes of two effective natural remedies that you can easily prepare at home:

Making 100 ml of strong tea with aromatic herbs like rosemary, oregano, mint or coriander might help you stop armpit sweating. Brew it for 5 minutes and dilute it with 100 ml of purified water. Add 3-5 drops of natural essential oils of tea tree, lavender or eucalyptus for the antibacterial and cooling effect.

Using baking soda can be very helpful to aid the rapid evaporation of sweat due to its alkaline PH. Mix 1 tbsp of baking soda with 1 tbsp of corn starch and apply directly to your dry underarms. You can also add 2-3 drops of essential oils to the mixture to make it lightly scented.

To stop heavy armpit sweating try these remedies at home along with drinking plenty of water, wearing cotton clothing and using un-perfumed personal hygiene products.
