Sex Advice- Bad Blood Passing During Menstruation

Question. I am a 27-year-old woman. I have read that if a woman gets an orgasm while having sex during her menstrual cycle her, flow reduces or stops. I noticed that when I indulged in the act myself, my blood flow stopped on the second day. Shouldn’t the bad blood be flushed out of the body? Will this affect me? Please help.

Answer. Menstruation does not pass bad blood. It is simply the passing out of the contents of the inner lining of the womb which takes place if the ovum was not fertilized. An orgasm will help the uterus expel the contents and it is said to reduce the menstrual discomfort.
